What if I am frustrated and exhausted?

By Lynne Cory

What if I think that I am wearing myself out from taking care of you and your daily health issues but really I am doing this for myself because I am getting something out of this situation. (acknowledgment or distraction from dealing with my own issues)?  What if you would be OK if I began to back off and begin tending to myself?  What if I am making myself the victim?

What if I can do both?

By Lynne Cory What if I give $5000.00 to the animal shelter because I want to help the innocent animals have a better life?  What if I give $5000.00 to the animal shelter because I want to see my name on the ornate plaque on the wall to impress all of my social friends?  What if I give the money but need the Federal ID number so that I can get a tax reduction?  Which is giving to others and which is gaining for me?      Gary Zukov

What if wisdom does not always come with age?  What if some people are just as stupid at 75 as they were at 15 because they never had the opportunity or desire to improve themselves?  What if some people at 9 are wise beyond their years and will continue to grow and improve throughout their life?  What if each person is growing at a rate that is best for them?

What if I am trying to communicate with another to help them understand me?  What if it would be helpful if I matched the speed of our conversation?  If you speak very slowly then I can slow my pace or quicken it if that is how you speak.  What if this showed respect for the other person and their speaking traits and caused them to hear me more efficiently as they were more comfortable?

What if I was afraid to hold the hand of destiny?

What if the universe held out its helpful hand?  While driving through Colombia we came upon a long line of traffic because the bridge had washed out ahead?  A young man on a motorcycle immediately showed up and said that for a few pesos he would take us on a 20 minute, convoluted detour to the next bridge?  What if some were afraid?  What if he was an angel who guided us effortlessly around the two hour long line?

What if he died in his sleep?

What if our domesticated pets hang on to life well past their prime because they do not want to cause their owners great sadness while they continue to try and please them? What if instead of extending their lives medically and finally having to put them “to sleep,” we spoke with them and assured them that they could pass when they were ready? What if I spoke with my parrot and he passed the next day?    for Mitchell

What if there is no sin?

By Lynne Cory

What if everything that we do is for our learning and growth?  What if things that happen to us are because we are focused on the opposite–I hope I do not get robbed. Or, it is a past life Karmic repayment?  What if I am being taught not to judge another? What if the universe is helping us with our lessons?
